OUR HISTORY, OUR VISION

At the Heart of Africa’s Tourism and Artisanal Heritage

More than just a trade show, SITAC reflects a modern, bold Africa that is deeply proud of its roots. Designed as a strategic international hub, it embodies the perfect blend of economic development in the travel industry and the preservation of exceptional artisanal craftsmanship.

SITAC 2027

Under the auspices of the Senegalese Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Handicrafts

Organized by SITA DAKAR under the strong leadership of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Handicrafts of the Republic of Senegal, SITAC 2027 is establishing itself as the major industry event of the year in West Africa.

Our core mission is twofold: first, to position the region as a leading global tourist destination through world-class infrastructure; and second, to develop and internationalize the arts and crafts market by providing our master artisans and contemporary designers with a high-end commercial showcase.

OUR STRATEGIC PILLARS (The Show's Values)

The Three Pillars of SITAC 2027

Sales Excellence (ROI Above All)

SITAC is not just an exhibition; it’s a growth accelerator. Through our B2B matchmaking platform, we create direct and measurable partnership opportunities between regional decision-makers, international investors, and major contractors.

Sustainable Teranga

Senegalese hospitality—known as “Teranga”—is at the heart of our approach. We promote responsible, eco-friendly, and socially conscious tourism that is rooted in local development, thereby meeting the requirements and standards of the travel industry of the future.

Preserving Our Heritage

We believe in luxury craftsmanship. We highlight the unique interplay between the preservation of traditional techniques and innovation in contemporary African design, whether in haute couture, fine leather goods, or art furniture.
